Your first round
- Choose Easy, inspect the first food position and press Start.
- Make turns early enough that the next movement step enters the intended corridor.
- After eating, check how the extra body length changes nearby gaps.
- Use Pause when you need to inspect a crowded board, then resume with a clear next direction.
Worked example
Avoid a pocket
Food sits in a narrow corner beside your body. A direct approach might collect it but leave the head boxed in by walls and the newly extended snake. Wait for the body to move away or approach through a corridor with a clear exit.
Build your strategy
- Favor wide loops while the board is open so your body remains easy to track.
- Watch the space your tail is about to vacate, but avoid committing to a gap before it is actually available.
- Increase speed only after you can steer reliably with your chosen keyboard, swipe or button controls.
Common mistakes
- Trying to make an instant 180° reversal instead of turning through two directions.
- Taking the shortest path to food without planning what happens immediately afterward.
