How to play
Tangram

To solve this tangram puzzle, compare each piece with its numbered target, rotate it to the correct angle, and move it until it snaps. Use the square’s corners and long edges as landmarks. Easy begins with three placed pieces, leaving four to position.

Your first round

  1. Start on Easy and inspect the pieces that are already placed.
  2. Choose an unplaced piece by its number and compare its edges with the remaining target space.
  3. Move it close to its intended location, rotate if needed, then use the arrow controls for smaller adjustments.
  4. Confirm that the placed counter increases before selecting the next piece.

Worked example

Make the idea concrete

Align before nudging

A triangle may cover the right area while its right-angle corner faces the wrong way. Rotate it in 45° steps until the edges match the guide, then move it close enough to snap. A locked piece no longer follows your controls.

Build your strategy

  • Place the large triangles early to establish the main diagonals.
  • Use the numbered picker when overlapping loose pieces are difficult to select.
  • On Medium, briefly show guides to study the arrangement, then hide them and reconstruct it.

Common mistakes

  • Judging success by visual coverage without checking whether the piece locked.
  • Trying to force an interchangeable-looking piece into another numbered piece’s target.

Try this next

Finish Easy using the direction controls as well as dragging. On Medium, aim to place several pieces before turning guides on.
