Maze Escape

Maze Escape is a route-finding puzzle. Move the player marker through open corridors to the finish flag. The whole maze is visible, so you can combine forward movement with planning from the exit backward.

Rules & objective

Guide the marker through the maze to the finish flag.

  • Move one square at a time horizontally or vertically. Dark squares are walls and cannot be entered.
  • Only successful moves through open squares increase the step count. Backtracking is allowed.
  • Reach the finish flag to complete the maze. Every generated maze has a route from the start to the finish.

Key terms

Junction

Common questions

Can I move diagonally?

No. Movement follows the four direction controls.

Is touching a wall a loss?

No. A blocked direction leaves the marker where it is; choose an open corridor instead.
