How to play
Arrow Escape

Read the arrowhead first, then inspect its entire lane. A short scan is more useful than a quick guess, especially when Hard gives you one life.

Your first round

  1. Begin on Easy and locate an arrowhead near an edge.
  2. Follow its direction square by square to the boundary. Check for tails as well as heads.
  3. Tap only when that whole lane is empty. After it leaves, inspect arrows that pointed into its old path.
  4. Repeat until the board is clear. Replay a completed level to improve its stars.

Worked example

Release the blocker first

Suppose arrow A points right, but arrow B occupies the next square in A’s lane. A cannot leave yet. If B points up with an empty lane, remove B, then inspect A’s lane again before tapping it.

Build your strategy

  • Scan the perimeter before the crowded center; arrows close to their exit often need less checking.
  • After a removal, focus on the newly empty path. This turns a full-board search into a smaller local search.
  • Use Hint to learn what a clear lane looks like, then retry without help when aiming for three stars.

Common mistakes

  • Following the bends in the body instead of the direction of the head.
  • Treating a nearly clear lane as safe: one occupied square is enough to block it.

Try this next

Clear three Easy levels without blocked taps. Move to Medium when you can explain which arrow each removal releases.
