Your first round
- Choose Easy and press Start when ready.
- Read the Next indicator, then sweep the grid in a consistent order until you find that number.
- Tap the target and remember any nearby upcoming numbers you noticed while searching.
- Continue to the final number. Review the penalty count alongside your total time.
Worked example
Make the idea concrete
Remember a future target
While looking for 4, you notice 5 near the bottom-right corner. Tap 4 once found, then go directly to the remembered position of 5. Check the number before tapping so a mistaken location does not add a penalty.
Build your strategy
- Use rows, columns or quadrants as search landmarks rather than jumping randomly around the board.
- Keep the next target in mind, but do not try to memorize the entire grid at once.
- Compare results within one tier because a 36-number board involves more searching than a 16-number board.
Common mistakes
- Tapping a number that you expect to see instead of reading the number actually shown.
- Chasing speed while repeatedly adding penalty seconds.
Try this next
Finish an Easy round with zero penalties. Repeat until your search feels orderly, then move to the 25-number grid.
